Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 release date reavealed
A report recently posted by Phone Arena is suggesting that a Samsung executive might have just revealed an interesting bit of news as to when the Korean smartphone maker is going to let its successor to the Galaxy Note series of phablets see the light of day.
Yup, die-hard phablet fans will be happy to know that Samsung will soon unveil the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Tab 3 at IFA Berlin in September, the former is expected sport a 5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of full high-definition 1080p [if not higher], the sad thing is, the Note 3′s display panel is not gonna be the flexible ‘Youm’ variant that everyone’s been waiting for. Since this is an oversized version of the Galaxy S4, expect the Note 3 to boast the eight-core/octa-core Exynos 5410 processor with a much higher clock speed, two gigabytes of DDR3 memory, S-Pen/gesture/eye detection and the highly praised 13-megapixel main camera.
The Galaxy Tab 3 on the other hand, is said to be crowned by a 1,280 by 800 display and a design that’s purportedly similar to that of the Galaxy Note 8.0′s — albeit, with thinner vertical bezels as well as the absence of the S-Pen and Wacom tablet input functionality. Also, the Galaxy Tab 3 is rumored to be only 6.95 millimeters thin.
Other features of the Galaxy Tab 3 include a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera to handle your Skype and Google Hangout conversations, a 5 megapixel main snapper for your Instagramming needs, a rather mainstream and unspecified 1.5GHz dual-core system-on-a-chip, a gigabyte of RAM and 16 gigabytes of internal storage space that’s expandable with the help of the microSD card slot.
