Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Rumors Roll Ahead Of The S4 Release Date

galaxy-note-3-rumorsArticle written by Kevin Go – It’s no surprise that the rumor-mill has turned away from the Galaxy S4 and found something else to focus on instead and that is Samsung’s next-gen phablet, the Galaxy Note 3.

Earlier rumors have already suggested that the Galaxy Note 3 might come with flexible, unbreakable AMOLED display and a powerful Exynos 5 Octa processor — the same thing has been said prior to the Galaxy S4′s unveiling, the Exynos 5 Octa did materialize despite the strong influx of Snapdragon 600 rumors back then, it is Samsung’s ‘Youm’ flexible OLED panels that did not make an appearance.

We’re guessing that the delay of Youm panel’s implementation in Samsung’s products is somehow related to previous reports pointing at the Korean giant encountering production issues with 1080p AMOLED displays for the Galaxy S4, this is probably why Samsung ultimately decided to use the older, more delicate glass AMOLED substrate on the S4 and held out on the Youm panels at least until they find solutions to the problems they’ve encountered.

Now, it seems that Samsung may have finally cracked the code since a report has fueled another round of Galaxy Note 3 rumors pointing at a September release and the aforementioned Youm AMOLED display panel with a 6.3-inch size, not the 5.9-inch panel we’ve been hoping for, this also completely aligns with our previous report.

We really hope that the Galaxy Note 3′s display will not break the 5.9-inch display barrier, the Note 2 and first-gen Note are already leaning towards the ‘inconvenient zone’ in terms of ergonomics, any larger and the Note 3 will be more difficult to grasp compared to its predecessors. Source via TechnoBuffalo.
