Rumors flow, talking about the much-anticipated iPhone 5. This time, a site is claiming that Apple is now blocking vacation time for employees.
The October 4 Apple event is not yet confirmed, but multiple websites continue to fill the mill with more rumors surrounding the Cupertino, California-based company’s next smartphone, the iPhone 5, or iPhone 4S according to some.
The latest rumor to hit the internet world is coming from Apple Insider with its new report posted on Saturday, claiming that Apple is now blocking the vacation time for some of its employees, and the site thinks the upcoming announcement and release dates of the iPhone 5 and the iOS 5 are the reasons behind.
The Apple-centric site also added that the company’s customer care department has been told to prepare for the “upcoming influx” of iOS 5 related Q&As, most likely coming from customers that will install the iOS 5 on release date. The website also added that the new version of Apple’s mobile operating system could hit the older iPhones and other iOS devices on October 9th to 12th.
Last week, reports flowed on the internet that Apple will introduce a new smartphone on October 4, possibly the iPhone 5. Rumors suggest that the iPhone 5 will be the first dual-core Apple smartphone, and will include the iOS 5 operating system build out of the box. Aside from the upped processor power and operating system, additional rumors also say that the next iPhone will feature a better primary camera and larger screen.
Apple Insider is also speculating that the release date of the iPhone 5 will be scheduled on either the 14th or 15th of October, and on the announcement date, October 4th, Apple will start taking pre-orders. Convincing? Well, there’s a possibility, but Apple is still not confirming nor denying if there’s really an October 4 event.
Many analysts believe, including Jefferies analysts, that the next iPhone will sport the name iPhone 4S, and will include the features I mentioned above. The group also predicts that Sprint Nextel will join the Apple ecosystem this year.
