Article by: Raphael Labuguen – LG Mobile, the maker of Google Nexus 4, has unveiled a new wireless charger that works with the flagship Google Android device.

The new WCP-300 uses the standard Qi wireless charging technology, so it is also compatible with other devices that support Qi like the HTC Droid DNA and the Nokia Lumia 920.

According to LG, the WCP-300 is the world’s smallest wireless charging pad measuring 6.9cm in diameter. Apparently, it is more pocketable that the Wireless Charging Orb being sold by Google at the Play Store.

LG hasn’t announced the release date and pricing for the new accessory, but we might welcome it by mid-2013, and because the new wireless charger is compatible with the Nexus 4, LG might sell more WCP-300 if the “price is right.”

The Google Nexus 4 Wireless Charging Orb is still available at the company’s Play Store, the official online store of the company, for just $60 each.
