Gone too soon, Hertz died at the age of 36. He was diagnosed with Wegener’s granulomatosis, an incurable form of vasculitis that affects the nose, lungs, and kidney, and other organs.

Google Doodle
Compared to other Google Doodles, the Hertz Doodle does not include the Google letters, and features an infinite-moving, colorful electromagnetic wave-like diagram. Clicking the image will initiate the Google search for Heirich Rudolf Hertz.
Time Zones
The new Google Doodle is now available in Australia and New Zealand because it’s already the 22nd of February there. The Doodle will presumably invade other Google sites later, including the United States and United Kingdom local Google websites.
