Search engine giant Google to replace Motorola Mobility CEO after merge says the new report.
Google, the search engine giant, will reportedly replace Motorola Mobility’s current CEO Sanjay Jha, with Dennis Woodside, Google’s former head of ad sales in Americas.
“(Google) is close to naming Dennis Woodside to run the business when the deal closes,” says Bloomberg.
If accurate, Woodside would play a big role in the smartphone market this year and we may see more Google-centric Motorola devices that will compete against the iPhone and Samsung’s Galaxy devices.

Motorola's latest smartphone, the Droid Razr, ships with an older version of Android.
The United States Justice Department approved Google’s $12.5 billion buyout of Motorola Mobility this month following the EU approval on the same date.
According to Google’s official statement, they’re purchasing Motorola Mobility because of its patents. However, Google’s former CEO Eric Schmidt revealed in a statement last year that the search engine giant also wants to tap the “talented Motorola Mobility” employees.
