Yes, Google’s new Doodle is cute with the little birds on top.

The new Google Doodle is now live in United Kingdom, and it’s cute — the Doodle that celebrates the world’s largest observed snowflake.

According to Google, January 28th is the 125th anniversary of the largest snowflake ever recorded in the world, and a Wikipedia entry said the big snowflake recorded by Guinness World Records measured 15 inches (or two Samsung Galaxy Note and one Galaxy Nexus phone displayed diagonally) fell at Fort Keogh on January 28th 1887, by the way — that’s huge.

The new Doodle, aside from the big snowflake and a snow-eating cow, also features two birds at the top of the tweaked Google logo (take note Twitter), that you can drive away by clicking (using your mouse pointer and mouse), very clever animation, Google. Clicking the cow or the snowflake will initiate the search for “World record for the largest observed snowflake.”

The new Google Doodle is not available in Australia, New Zealand or Japan, and United Kingdom Google (Google.co.uk) is the only website that celebrates the recorded natural phenomenon. We’re expecting to see the new Doodle in the United States Google website at around 12 MN.
