Motorola Xoom using Sprint Wimax soon?

BGR’s report with attached photos is claiming that Sprint Wireless might be the next carrier to offer the Motorola Xoom. The speculation is based on images showing Motorola Xoom cases showing up at Sprint stores’ database. The 3G/4G model of the Motorola Xoom is currently offered by Verizon Wireless.
In related news, a new Motorola Xoom model might hit United Stores this year courtesy of Verizon. According to a leaked memo, a Motorola Xoom with 16GB of internal storageĀ could be in the works. No words from Verizon yet if this rumor is true. A 16GB Motorola Xoom is expected to sport a cheaper tag price compared to the 32GB model, and might challenge the iPad 2 16GB’s base asking price of $629.
Motorola Xoom is the first tablet to ship with Android Honeycomb, the 3.0 version of the popular Google mobile operating system specially helmed for devices that have larger capacitive touchscreen size.
