Motorola Atrix will compete with the iPhone, and actually, two other Motorola devices.

Motorola Atrix is one of the 4G devices of AT&T. This device is expected to compete with two other Motorola device which are scheduled to arrive outside AT&T, the Droid Bionic and the Xoom.
Motorola Atrix 4G is one of the much-anticipated Android smartphones scheduled to arrive in AT&T, the carrier who once owned the exclusive rights to sell Apple iPhone.
AT&T announced this device (and two other 4G smartphones from HTC and Samsung) after Verizon and Apple’s announcement of the iPhone running CDMA.
But did you know that Atrix will not just compete with the CDMA iPhone? Motorola Atrix is actually a phone that will compete with two other powerful Verizon Wireless devices, the Motorola Droid Bionic and the Motorola Xoom.
Xoom is actually a tablet, and will be using Android Honeycomb which is not an Android version that supports voice calls, instead, Xoom will be using VOIP services like Skype to create a call.
Motorola Atrix and Motorola Xoom are both expected to use 4G networks. Motorola Xoom will be using the LTE network of Verizon Wireless on the Q2 of this year, while Motorola Atrix 4G is most likely one of the first batch of devices to use the LTE network of AT&T which will be launched commercially in mid-2011.
Another Atrix competition is the Motorola Droid Bionic. The device will use 1 GHz processor (Dual Core), memory of 512 MB RAM / 2048 MB ROM, and about 4.3 inches of touch screen size.
The device will use Android FroYo as its pre-installed mobile operating system, which is also the Android version pre-installed in the Atrix.
The only difference of Motorola Atrix and Motorola Droid Bionic is the carrier that the two Motorola devices will use because both Android smartphones are capable of storing and playing larger media files, and faster access to the internet because the Atrix and the Droid Bionic almost have the same specs.
But compared to the Droid Bionic which is scheduled to arrive in Q2, a report says Motorola Atrix will be released before this quarter ends.
