After HTC One (M7), More Windows Phones Coming..
Article by: Raphael Labuguen – HTC will release more phones this year, but will tap Windows Phone as operating system. Despite the fact that HTC’s focus is on Android with the company’s new flagship phone, the HTC One (M7), the Taiwan-based phone maker said in an interview that they’re planning to launch more devices this year, but with Microsoft’s Windows Phone OS in tow.
As reported by CNET, HTC is still betting on Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system. HTC’s current flagship Windows Phone 8 device is the HTC Windows Phone 8X.
It is quite obvious that HTC is not happy with the sales of the Windows Phone 8X. According to HTC’s vice president for Global Product Planning, Tai Ito, “Windows Phone 8 is not as good as the market expected,” however, the company is still optimistic that the sales will improve.
The new HTC One, formerly called the HTC M7, is powered by Android Jelly Bean but offers a unique skin running on top of the original user interface. The HTC One is equipped with Qualcomm’s new quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and offers the new ultrapixel camera technology. Via CNET.
