Google Plus invite link now almost permanent, search engine’s VP for Engineering reports upcoming changes inside the new social networking site.
Google Plus invite link is still live after 24 hours, which is the button’s longest stay to date inside the new social networking site launched last week.
Good news, the Google Plus invite link located inside Google’s new social networking site is still up and running after 24 hours. Apparently, Google is now ready to accept more new members that multiply every hour courtesy of early adopters that can send an invitation via e-mail, and the receiver can join the site just by clicking a link, and registering in Google’s registration page for Google Plus.
After its launch last week, Google tried its best to control the growth of the Google Plus members by removing the invite link, and re-embedding it for few hours before removing it again. Today, it’s highly possible that Google’s server for Google Plus was “expanded” and ready to serve more data because they’re still allowing new registrants. To invite friends (if already a member), simply enter the friend’s e-mail address in the text field provided by the Google Plus Invite link, and tell the receiver to open the e-mail. Or the invited person can also login and register through the Google Plus Website HERE instantly.
Meanwhile, Google’s SVP of Engineering Vic Gundotra confirmed via its Google Plus public post that they’ll roll out “some changes” next week, which could mean functionality improvements, as well as less-buggy user interface. Gundotra also admits that there’s a lot of “criticism for Google+,” adding that the team behind the much talked about new service is “listening and working to address” all issues reported.
Google Plus includes new features that are still not supported by social networking giant Facebook. Google Plus testers are reporting that “Hangouts,” the group video calling feature of Google+, is one of its strengths against Facebook. Apparently, Facebook alongside Skype launched the 1 to 1 only video calling that is very easy to install (just like Google+). Google Plus also offers unlimited storage for photos and videos, but only allows a maximum of 5,000 followings (or adding to circles).
