Samsung Galaxy S4 “Mini” An Upgraded Version Of The Galaxy S2 With Jelly Bean?

samsung-galaxy-s4-miniArticle written by Kevin Go – Let’s start this one be giving you guys a recap of the Samsung Galaxy S2′s innards. The Korean giant’s second iteration of the Galaxy S series’ boasts a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 480 by 800 pixels, a dual-core Exynos 4210 processor with a clock speed of 1.2 gigahertz, a front-facing video chat camera and an 8-megapixel main camera.

Now, what will you guys say if we told you that Samsung has decided to “base” the Galaxy S4 Mini’s hardware on the Galaxy S2′s? Yep, you guessed it, you’ll get a pretty decent mid-range smartphone that can be considered as a high-end handset if it existed during the skinny Galaxy S2′s glory days.

The Galaxy S4 Mini features a 4.3-inch AMOLED display (of unknown panel type, hopefully not pentile) with a 540 by 960 qHD resolution and a pixel density of 256 pixels-per-inch. The heart of the Galaxy S4′s baby brother is said to be a 1.6 gigahertz dual-core processor that should keep the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating running smoothly, and of course, this is a Galaxy smartphone so naturally it’ll come with the new TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0 user interface. A variant of the S4 Mini will boast dual-SIM capabilities.

It’s safe to speculate that the Galaxy S4 Mini will come with a gigabyte of RAM just like the Galaxy S3 Mini did, as for other details, the folk who leaked this juicy bit of news has chosen to leave everything else to our imagination so better stay tune since we’re gonna be sleeping with one eye open for all of you guys. Source via Sammobile.
