Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to take an early release date?
Article written by Kevin Go – The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is once again trying to steal the spotlight from Samsung’s current flagship — the Galaxy S4, and according to a new report posted by Sammobile, Samsung is set to unveil the larger Android handset soon.
As per the report, an unnamed source has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab 3 will hit the market on the second half of this year as well as revealing that the Galaxy Tab 2 will officially reach end-of-life or E.O.L. status after Samsung rolls out the ‘final’ firmware upgrade for it which will sport the latest version of Google’s Android mobile operating system, the Android 4.2.2, meaning, users of the Galaxy Tab 2 shouldn’t expect that they will get a taste of what Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie has to offer — that’s where the insanely helpful developer community kicks in.
The Galaxy Note 3 too is not to be ignored, it is, after all, one of Samsung’s many prized devices. It is also bound for a reveal at the IFA too but with a display size of 6.3 inches which aligns with previous rumors. We think that Samsung is reaching the borderline here, the Note 2′s 5.5 inch is already too big for many, we’d be more than glad if Sammy will stick with that panel size since it is more palatable in terms of ergonomics.
The Galaxy Tab 3′s innards has not been revealed but the Galaxy Note 3 will possibly sport the same Exynos 5410 Octa processor found inside the Galaxy S4 — albeit, with a much higher clock speed. It may also come with the gesture detection hardware, roomy three gigabytes worth of DDR3 RAM, 16/32/64 gigabytes worth of internal storage space [expandable via a micro SDXC card slot], temperature and humidity sensors and, of course, the 13-megapixel, backside-illuminated main camera.
