Civilization 5 “Brave New World” Expansion Coming To Mac OS X On Same Release Date
Contrary to my first post (sorry), the upcoming Civilization 5 expansion “Brave New World” is coming to PC and Mac on the same date.
Article by: Raphael Labuguen – Unlike SimCity 5 (2013) which is currently available on PC only, 2K Games will launch its successful franchise’s new expansion to PC and Mac OS X platforms on same launch date.
As reported by Macgasm, “Civilization 5: Brave New World” expansion will also be launching on Mac OS X on the same date. It is safe to say that both Mac and PC users can purchase the game expansion on the same date via Steam (downloadable content). Leaks last month revealed some “codes” confirming that the new Civilization 5 expansion is joining the online store.
“Brave New World” will bring new buildings, civilizations and policies that would change the way we play the game. For example, achieving cultural victory would be “easier” thanks to new elements such as great artists and the new “archeologists.”
The new expansion for Civilization 5 also brings new features for Diplomacy victory, with new “World Congress” feature adding weight to international relations. The current expansion available is the “Gods and Kings” software which offers spies and religion gameplay. Source.
Thanks Generous04 for the tip.
