BlackBerry Z10 Software Update Addresses Battery Life Issues, Bug Fixes
Article by: Raphael Labuguen – Finally, former Research in Motion, now known as BlackBerry, has rolled out a new software update for the BlackBerry Z10 running BlackBerry 10. The new software update, according to Engadget, aims to improve battery life on the BlackBerry Z10 while fixing minor bugs and optimizing the phone’s software.
The new software update, 10.0.10.85 version, has addressed the reported fast battery drain, and also improves the overall software — from the phone’s camera to applications.
It is worth noting that some devices are still not eligible to receive the software update for the BlackBerry Z10. According to the Canadian phone maker, the 150MB software update is available on some carrier-based variants right now, but it may arrive to more markets soon.
BlackBerry Z10 is the company’s new flagship device, it runs BlackBerry 10 mobile operating system with the new application market and tons of new features. The BlackBerry Z10 offers a dual-core processor, removable battery, card slot for additional storage, an 8-megapixel primary camera, a front-facing camera and a 4.2-inch display with 768 x 1280 pixels resolution boasting more than 350 pixels per inch.
