Samsung Galaxy S4 image leaked, delayed launch linked to the HTC One (M7) debut?

Samsung Galaxy S4 image leaks, shortly after HTC unveiled its high-end Android smartphone, the HTC One.
Did Samsung’s much-talked about Galaxy S4 smartphone just posed in front of the camera? A leaked image of Korean juggernaut’s upcoming flagship is now making rounds on the internet and so far, the reaction of the tech community has been mixed.
As you can see above, the leaked image of the GT-i9500 shows that it no longer possesses the ‘curvature’ of its predecessor and its much more defined corners remind of the Galaxy S2, Samsung has also chosen to use ‘SoLux’ LCD technology in its upcoming latest and greatest as revealed by the washed out blacks, display type favorability varies from person to person, some would rather choose the saturated colors and deep blacks offered by AMOLED screens but others prefer the realistic colors and unprecedented sharpness of a LCD panel.
So, will the Galaxy S4 no longer come with a full high-definition AMOLED display that everyone has been expecting? Has Samsung really chosen Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 600 processor instead of the latest Exynos 5 chips? Well, we really don’t know, but I’m speculating that the “quarter-long delay” related to the Exynos 5 production is somehow linked to HTC’s launch of its latest flagship phone, the One.
Everyone was shocked at how the HTC M7 or One turned out, consumers weren’t expecting much from the Taiwanese smartphone giant but it pretty much crammed all the features consumers ever wanted in smartphone — except the small-ish battery — and as a result, the One and HTC’s corporate future doesn’t look so bleak anymore. The ‘power issues’ Samsung is facing with its Exynos 5 Octa chip sounds realistic enough but for obvious reasons, I can’t help myself from envisioning Samsung’s engineers saying the idiom, “[Well] back to the drawing board.” the moment they saw the HTC One.
Why is Samsung rushing the Galaxy S4′s launch to begin with? It’s obvious, yes, Samsung wants to beat HTC, Sony and many others but is it worth taking the risk? Is it worth destroying the Galaxy S line’s solid reputation? I’m in no way siding with HTC on this one, I’ve always loved Samsung’s hardware (I still have my trusty Galaxy S2) so don’t take this the wrong way.
Believing rumors is like saying that the idea of human babies being delivered by storks is real. Given the recent turn of events it’s best to wait for Samsung’s official announcement. As of now, I really can’t see the rumored March 14 event from happening but, who am I to judge? Source.
