The Samsung Galaxy S4 is arguably the much-anticipated Android handset this year, and one analyst revealed that Samsung Electronics is planning to manufacture 100 million Galaxy S4 units, and the company is reportedly willing to “reallocate resources away from Apple” due to limited component supply.
Peter Misek from Jefferies & Company noted that Samsung is setting huge sales goal for the Galaxy S4, and the company is reportedly willing to pull away resources from its supply customer Apple.
This year, Apple will reportedly launch the iPhone 5S or the iPhone 6, but Misek already said in a separate note that Apple’s partners are having difficulties manufacturing display for the rumored “larger” iPhone 6.
According to the rumor mill, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will offer the “largest” display yet, a 4.99-inch, larger than 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display of the Samsung Galaxy S3. Plus, a new processor, new back-facing primary camera sensor, the latest Android Jelly Bean platform and new design with a “more premium” build are also highly expected.
Apart from the Samsung Galaxy S4, latest rumours suggest a new Galaxy Note arriving this year shortly after the launch of the S IV — the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Similar to last year’s model, the Galaxy Note 4 will most likely offer the same set of features. Via BGR.
