Verizon cuts Droid RAZR HD Maxx pricing amid Jelly Bean updates
Amid Jelly Bean update extravaganza of Motorola Mobility, Verizon Wireless has decided to introduce new pricing for the popular Motorola Droid RAZR HD Maxx.
Feb 11, 2013, 6:00 P.M. MONDAY. Article by: Carlo Raphael Diokno – As reported by Droid Life, the smartphone with bigger-than-usual battery is now cheaper with $249.99 price tag, cheaper than its original price of $299.99 with Verizon’s 2-year contract and additional monthly fees for LTE or Long Term Evolution data.
Of course, it is still expensive compared to Google’s cheaper and more attractive Google Nexus 4 — but the problem is Google’s questionable inventory. It is worth noting that you can also purchase the Nexus 4 at T-Mobile Stores, but with the carrier’s premium price.
The new pricing for the Droid RAZR HD Maxx appears amid Jelly Bean updates for older Motorola devices. Last week, Motorola announced the Jelly Bean update for the RAZR i, the Droid RAZR variant with Intel processor. Non-Droid Razrs (international models) also received their Jelly Bean update recently.
