A new, faster Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android Jelly Bean revealed (but for Three)
A new Samsung Galaxy S3, faster and with Android Jelly Bean out of the box, is coming — but in United Kingdom only.
Feb 11, 2013, 6:00 P.M. MONDAY. Article by: Carlo Raphael Diokno – With 4G Long Term Evolution and the latest version of Android, the Android Jelly Bean 4.1, the Three Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE is coming to the market soon according to numerous reports. Unlike other variants, the upcoming “3″ Samsung Galaxy S3 with 4G LTE doesn’t have to wait for a software update.
And with 4G LTE, Three is claiming that customers can search the web, watch videos and download content faster while hooked up to its faster connection.
Late to the game, the LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 is not new in United States. In fact, three out of the four most popular Galaxy S3 variants in North America are already offering LTE, the Sprint, Verizon and AT&T models, but with Android Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box and requires software update over the air or OTA.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the flagship device of Samsung Mobile last year. This year, the company is expected to unveil the “faster and better” (according to rumors) Samsung Galaxy S4. Release date, pricing and other details of the Galaxy S3 remain unknown for the moment.
In related news, the international unlocked Samsung Galaxy S3, now with Android Jelly Bean update, is still available on the web. The cheapest we’ve seen so far is sporting the tag price of $530 each. Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S3 with the premium asking price of more than $800 with its unlocked micro-SIM card and 16GB of on-board flash storage.
