Months late, the Google Nexus 10 finally invades Japan
Finally, Japanese customers can now order the new Samsung/Google Nexus 10 tablet running the absolute pure version of Android Jelly Bean — the Nexus 10.
Feb 05, 2013, 12:12 A.M., TUESDAY. Article by: Carlo Raphael Diokno – The wait is finally over in Japan, customers there can now purchase the Samsung-made Google Nexus 10 tablet, the first Nexus tablet that rivals the regular iPad.
Sporting $100-less price tag for every model (vs the Apple iPad), can Google lure Japanese customers by offering HD display with more pixels per inch without the premium price?
Unlike the Nexus 7 or the LG Nexus 4, the Nexus 10 tablet is equipped with a dual-core processor, but a no-slouch, its processor is Exynos A15 with 2GB RAM. It also features a back-facing 5-megapixel camera and a front-facing video chat camera — better than single front camera only of the Nexus 7 by ASUS.
The Nexus 10 in Japan is available on the Google Play Store for ¥36,800 for the base model and ¥44,800 for the beefier 32GB variant.
