HTC is going “thinner,” leaks reveal the revamped HTC Sense user interface is simpler and lighter. The new OS skin could be the “out of the box” user interface of the rumored HTC M7, the 2013 flagship Android smartphone of the Taiwan-based phone maker.
New leaks online reveal the unannounced new HTC Sense 5 user interface that will replace the Sense 4+ running on the Droid DNA and HTC Butterfly and other HTC Android devices.
As reported by multiple tech sites, the new HTC Sense UI is simpler or “minimalist” and could be lighter, allowing HTC smartphones to run smoother. One of the photos has confirmed that the new Sense will continue to have the slightly irritating no “battery-percentage-battery-icon” that HTC loves.
With Android Jelly Bean, the upcoming skin is nicely done with “more black” than previous Sense custom UI versions. The clock on the new HTC Android skin is also smaller and blends better with the app tray.
HTC is expected to release the new user interface alongside the much-rumored HTC M7. According to rumors, the HTC M7 will offer Android Jelly Bean out of the box, the latest quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, bigger battery, bigger and better display and might also ship with new cameras.

Screen grab from the HTC M7? It is possible!
