Nokia Lumia 920 still sold out, unlocked phones restocking next month
November 24, 2012, 11:22 A.M., Saturday, New York local time — The most popular Windows Phone ever, the Nokia Lumia 920, is still sold out online but additional units are on the way according to sources.
More customers can purchase the new Nokia Lumia 920 unlocked online starting next month, December, specifically on the first week of the Christmas month. Apparently, the new Windows Phone 8 of Nokia is still sold out in many countries specifically on online stores which offer shipping to the United States and other key markets.
According to sources from online stores, the Nokia Lumia 920 is the “hottest Windows Phone” to date based on pre-orders and sales number, but reportedly not bigger than sales of the iPhone and Android devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S3, the Galaxy Note 2 and even the HTC One X. Nokia is beginning to gain market share, but underwhelming supply is threatening the growth of the Microsoft platform and the potential growth of Nokia’s smartphone business.

We’ve been told that the Yellow Nokia Lumia 920 is the most popular variant to date.
As of today, the first Saturday after the Thanksgiving, the Nokia Lumia 920 is still not available in many online stores including all popular online smartphone portals that ship phones to United States. Also worth noting is the Nokia Lumia 920 LTE of AT&T that offers a cheaper price tag but with 2-year service agreement with the US operator. Customers can also purchase the Lumia 920 of AT&T for $449 off-contract.
Still for the AT&T Nokia Lumia 920, re-sellers invaded Ebay and Amazon today. Overpriced Nokia Lumia 920 with AT&T logo and unlocked micro-SIM card slot is available on online marketplaces today with prices ranging from $700 to $900.
The Nokia Lumia 920 is the latest flagship Windows Phone 8 of the Finland-based phone maker. The device currently competes with the Google Nexus 4, the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the Apple iPhone 5.
The Lumia 920 is powered by a dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, Windows Phone 8 out of the box, features a large 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass, 8-megapixel primary camera, front-facing camera and a Nokia N9-like design, but with thicker body to accommodate the wireless charging technology and the advanced camera.
