iPhone 5 might face the Samsung Galaxy S3 in June, if Apple will follow its “real” iPhone schedule.
One rumor a day, will excite you before holiday.
A new rumor posted online is claiming that Samsung will launch its highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 in June — which is, surprisingly the real schedule of new iPhones. Apparently, Apple launched the iPhone 4S in October last year and not June for unknown reason/s if any.
According to Android and Me, the new Samsung Galaxy S3 rumor claims that the device will carry the latest Android version, the Android Ice Cream Sandwich, and will feature a high-definition 4.8-inch screen with the so-called Super AMOLED Plus technology which is similar to the Galaxy S2 but now with more pixels.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is also, reportedly, equipped with a quad-core CPU, specifically the 1.5 or 1.8 GHz Exynos 4412 processor, and the new smartphone might also include a 12-megapixel primary camera and a ceramic casing.
The specs, obviously, is very interesting and very competitive and if accurate, then the Samsung Galaxy S3 is indeed the “it phone” that will compete against Apple’s long-rumored and much-anticipated iPhone 5 that will reportedly get a June release date, but some analysts think that Apple will now follow the October release date just because the iPhone 4S launch last year was very successful.
Based on the iPad 3 or new iPad’s specs, it is highly possible that Apple will use the same CPU, the dual-core A5X with quad-core graphics. Apple said the LTE-equipped iPad 3 is capable of delivering 10 hours battery life with the faster data connectivity and retina display. If Apple will use the same technique with its iPhone 5 — then this year’s smartphone rivalry will not just focus on operating system, but also on battery life and speed.
It is worth noting that a Samsung executive already promised a “longer-lasting” smartphone this year, and it is likely than not that he was talking about the Galaxy S3.
