Facebook Timeline doesn’t support Internet Explorer 7
Bad news IE7, no new Facebook profile for you.
Facebook Timeline, the new profile design of the popular social networking site, is now available for everyone. But here’s the catch, Internet Explorer 7 users are not supported.
According to multiple reports, the new social networking site presentation does not appear on the old Microsoft browser version and users visiting Timeline-enabled Facebook profile pages are reportedly getting the old Facebook profile layout, or the simpler and no “cover” profile page.
Facebook is currently the second most popular website in United States with 153.4 million MA visitors, so it is safe to say that many Facebook users are still using the five year-old Microsoft creation. Facebook’s decision to block the IE7 will surely push users to switch to a newer version of Internet Explorer or other modern web browsers like Google’s Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
