Happy New Year means two iPad 3 models?
One new report is claiming that Apple will release two iPad 3 models next month.
A new rumor is circulating online courtesy of the not-so accurate Digitimes, and this time, the Asian Tech site is claiming that the Cupertino, California-based tech giant will announce two iPads next year at the Macworld Expo in San Francisco, California on January 23.
iPad 3 will reportedly arrive in two flavors, one model with a 5-megapixel camera, and the second model will feature an 8-megapixel back camera. Both iPad 3 models, still according to the rumor, would have high-resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixel display.

It is worth noting that Digitimes was also the source of the 8-inch iPad 3 rumor, but experts followed suit with their own analysis that it is impossible, and only possible scenario next year is the cheaper iPad 2, and the expensive iPad 3.
It is New Year’s eve already in some countries, in fact, Google is already celebrating with a new Doodle, so if this new rumor is true, then the tech world might welcome two new iPads in less than a month. But here comes the big N and O from other tech sites.
One, Apple fan boy John Gruber of Daring Fireball reacted and labeled the new Digitimes rumor with a big FALSE sign. He also added that Apple isn’t unveiling “anything” at the Expo.
Two, Apple Insider calls the new rumor, impossible.
And three, Apple is still not commenting regarding the new rumor.
