T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 (Hercules), HTC Ruby not arriving next month?

Samsung Hercules, Galaxy S II variant T-Mobile USA 4G Android smartphone

A new report claims T-Mobile’s “Hercules” Samsung phone and the new powerful HTC Ruby not arriving in September.

A new leaked document said Samsung Hercules, the T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 variant, and the HTC Ruby with almost the same powerful specs arriving on October 26th.

Apparently a sad news especially if you are a T-Mobile USA customer, the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the HTC Ruby will not hit T-Mobile brick and mortar stores next month. According to a report posted by TMo News, an unofficial T-Mobile blog, a leaked internal document has confirmed that Samsung Galaxy S II variant for the US carrier, or the so-called Samsung Hercules and the unannounced HTC Ruby Android smartphone will not arrive until the 26th of October.

Samsung Mobile had already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S2 will arrive in United States this month, in fact, the Korean-based Android manufacturer already issued an invitation suggesting that the company’s most popular device to date will be officially unveiled in United States on August 29th.

If this new report is legitimate, then it is highly possible that T-Mobile will not be the first US carrier to offer the popular Android smartphone. Previous reports already confirmed that Sprint Nextel, Verizon Wireless and AT&T are also expected to retail the Galaxy S II with subsidized price, so the situation now is wait-and-see if what carrier will offer the Galaxy S2 first.

Aside from the S2 Samsung phone, HTC Ruby is also reportedly arriving on the 26th of October too. HTC Ruby, according to premature reports, will include 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of dedicated RAM, 8 MP back camera that can shoot HD videos and photos, 2 MP front camera for video chatting apps like Google Talk with Video and Skype, and the Ruby phone is rumored to include a new version of the HTC Sense custom skin.

It is worth mentioning that HTC’s Sensation 4G Android smartphone which is also running under T-Mobile USA is powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, but does include less Random Access Memory, and is also equipped with 2MP 1.3 MP front and 8MP back cameras.
