Samsung Galaxy S II with Motorola Droid Bionic like feature unearthed
Another Samsung Galaxy S2 variant spotted ahead of the United States release date.
Now it looks like the United States of America is really not the “favorite” of Samsung Mobile, or they’re just into polishing things before releasing their phones in the US market?
A new day means a new Samsung smartphone leak. After the rumors about the Samsung Stratosphere circulated on the internet last week, a new, and obviously very interesting Android smartphone helmed by the Korean-based smartphone manufacturer has been found, and according to an Engadget article, the phone holds a codename Celox.
Is this the Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus that we already reported two months ago? Well, there’s a possibility because according to the new leak, it’s a Samsung Galaxy S II variant that will feature upgraded under the hood power like a 4.5 inches Super AMOLED Plus screen which is 0.2 inches larger than the conventional Galaxy S II’s screen size, 16 GB on board storage included with the additional 32 GB courtesy of MicroSD card slot and the very fatty 1750 mAh battery, which is theoretically superior compared to the 1650 mAh battery that is being used by the current global Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone.
But on top of all that goodies — the new Samsung Galaxy S II with the “Celox” internal codename will stun the Android world with the LTE connectivity — yes, the Droid Bionic’s very core feature that attracts many customers. According to the report, the LTE feature of the rumored new Galaxy S2 variant offers 800MHz LTE support, so it’s highly possible that the phone will not arrive in USA, and the Celox phone’s real soul mate is Europe.
One of the intriguing features that the phone has is the unusual home screen button (that looks like a touchpad). Plus, the back cover of the phone doesn’t look “plasticky” that other Samsung Galaxy S II model have. The Samsung Stratosphere is still not officially announced, and the phone is still not supported by additional leaks so it’s really hard to speculate if whether or not the Celox and the rumored Stratosphere are just the same.
The bottom line here is the timing of this new Samsung Galaxy S II leak — especially if you’re one of the customers who have already pledged to buy the Samsung Mobile superphone after watching and reading reviews like this, and this, claiming that the most popular phone of the Korean-based company (based on sales) is currently the best Android smartphone in the market. Plus, if you’re a potential Droid Bionic customer, you will most likely ask yourself if the powerful Moto phone is still worth the wait after seeing the new Sammy LTE phone, and learning about the rumored “Stratosphere.”
Another issue now is if whether or not the new rumored Samsung smartphones will get the new Android iteration, the already confirmed Ice Cream Sandwich that will most likely kill the “Android fragmentation” reports courtesy of its “across all devices feature” that will also benefit the Android app developers because of better application compatibility with Android smartphones and tablets.
