iPhone 5 or iPad 2? I think it’s bigger.

Apparently, Cupertino, California-based company Apple inc will announce a “device” on March 2. And like what I’m expecting, the blogosphere celebrated because the company that started the slate-craze, as well as the “app-lurve” will officially announce a new device that is expected to hit the shelves next quarter, or even next month.

Is it the iPhone 5 or iPad 2? Majority of reports with attached speculation say it’s an iPad 2, based on Apple’s invitation that included a small portion of the device that have a wide bezel. But not all invited guests are convinced that it’s an iPad 2.

Sky News’ Christer Holloman asks his readers if it’s a “new iPhone, or is it an iPad?” Holloman even added that “maybe” it’s not the iPhone 5, but “an improved iPhone 4 version, like the ’3GS’ vs. ’3G’.”

Aside from the iPhone 5 or iPad 2 mystery, Apple fans, as well a curious techies are also asking if Steve Jobs will be the announcer of the event. The Apple CEO took a medical leave last month.
