Matt Hughes of ‘Storm Chasers’ death not related to his ‘chasing activities’

Matt Hughes was featured in Wednesday’s episode of Discovery Channel, and the viewers were shocked after hearing the news.
Matt Hughes, the meteorologist who was featured in Discovery Channel series “Storm Chasers” was the highlight of the series’ episode aired this week.
According to Discovery.com, the special Storm Chasers episode called “Dedication” featured Matt’s incredible last chase, “and is dedicated to his memory.”
Hughes died five months ago in Wichita, Kansas due to an injury unrelated to his chasing activities.
Discovery Channel’s official website posted some of the late Meteorologist’s photos, remembering his contributions to the show. The cable channel also revealed that a special memorial fund has been established to benefit Matt’s two young sons.
