Nokia Lumia 900 of AT&T a $100 phone?
A new rumor says AT&T’s first Nokia high-end smartphone will sport the magnificent $99.99 tag price on contract.
How to attack the iPhone 4S? First, LTE and second, tag price.
A new rumor posted by hit-or-miss tech blog BGR is claiming that AT&T’s Nokia Lumia 900, the first Nokia Windows Phone smartphone running Mango and with the faster Long-Term Evolution technology, will go on sale in March and will use the $99.99 tag price.
If true, then the Lumia 900 could be the best Windows Phone smartphone that could rival the iPhone 4S and other popular Android smartphones in the United States.
Launching on March 18th, the report notes, is $100 cheaper compared to the iPhone 4S, and almost $200 cheaper than high-end Verizon Android LTE phones — and it might attract some advanced and first time smartphone buyers to try the new mobile platform of Microsoft.
In the United States, Android and Apple smartphones dominate the market with Google’s platform owning almost half the total percentage, while Apple maintains a strong double-digit score. Microsoft is still standing below the list with a poor single-digit market share.
Can the reportedly cheaper Nokia Lumia 900 steal some market share of Apple and Google?
